FuelTrip uses your vehicle's efficiency (L/100km, mpg, or kWh/100km), the route distance from live routing data, and your local fuel or energy price to calculate trip costs. The app accounts for city/highway mix and can handle different drivetrains including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
FuelTrip supports L/100km, L/100mi, kWh/100km, mpg (US and Imperial), and allows you to set a custom currency symbol. You can switch between kilometers and miles for distance measurements.
Your trip data stays on your device by default. You can optionally enable iCloud sync to access your data across multiple devices. We don't collect, store, or share your trip history on our servers. Your privacy is our priority.
Location permission is optional. FuelTrip can use your current location to make route planning faster, but you can manually enter addresses or use saved places without granting location access.
Premium includes: unlimited saved places, multiple vehicle support, analytics dashboard with monthly totals, spend by category and vehicle, calendar heatmap, daily breakdown, and custom categories. You can subscribe monthly or yearly.
Absolutely! FuelTrip fully supports electric vehicles. You can set your EV's efficiency in kWh/100km (or kWh/100mi), battery capacity, and local electricity prices to get accurate cost estimates for your trips.
FuelTrip requires an internet connection for route planning since it uses live routing data to calculate accurate distances and alternatives. However, your trip history and vehicle information are always available offline.
