FuelTrip is owned and operated by CreatorIQ Labs (www.creatoriqlabs.com). References to "we," "us," "our," or "FuelTrip" in this Privacy Policy refer to CreatorIQ Labs and the FuelTrip application.

When you use FuelTrip, you may provide:

• Fuel/Energy Prices: Current prices you enter for cost calculations
• Places: Saved locations such as Home, Work, and custom places
• Trip Data: Routes planned, distances traveled, costs calculated
• Preferences: Units of measurement, currency symbols, app settings

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

FuelTrip may automatically collect:

• Location Data: Only if you grant permission; used for current location in route planning
• Device Information: iOS version, device type, app version (for troubleshooting and compatibility)
• Usage Analytics: Basic app usage patterns to improve functionality (anonymized)
• Crash Reports: Technical data when the app crashes to help us fix issues

2.3 Information We Don't Collect

We explicitly do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact support)
• Payment information (handled by Apple's App Store)

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

By default, all your trip data, vehicle information, and saved places are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

4.2 iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync:

• Your data is synced across your Apple devices using your iCloud account
• Data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud storage
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• iCloud sync is governed by Apple's privacy policy
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in iOS Settings

4.3 Data Retention

Your data remains on your device (and optionally in your iCloud) until you delete it. If you uninstall the app without enabling iCloud sync, all local data is permanently deleted.

5. Location Data

5.1 How We Use Location

Location access is entirely optional. If granted, we use it to:

• Automatically populate your current location when planning routes
• Provide faster route planning without manual address entry

5.2 Location Permission Types

FuelTrip requests "While Using the App" location permission. We never track your location in the background or when the app is closed.

5.3 Declining Location Access

You can use all FuelTrip features without granting location permission by manually entering addresses or selecting saved places.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 Apple App Store

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs this data.

6.2 Mapping Services

FuelTrip integrates with mapping services (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze) for route calculations and navigation. When you use these features:

• Route data is sent to the respective mapping service to calculate distances and directions
• Each service has its own privacy policy
• We do not store or process route data from these services

6.3 Analytics Services

We use anonymized analytics to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

7.1 We Don't Sell Your Data

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

• Delete: Remove individual trips, vehicles, or all data from app settings
• Export: Premium users can export trip data for personal records

9.2 Location Permission

You can revoke location permission at any time through iOS Settings > FuelTrip > Location.

9.3 Analytics Opt-Out

Disable analytics in FuelTrip Settings > Privacy > Analytics.

9.4 iCloud Sync

Toggle iCloud sync on or off in FuelTrip Settings > iCloud Sync or iOS Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Local Encryption: Data stored on your device is protected by iOS security features
• iCloud Encryption: Data synced to iCloud is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Secure Development: We follow secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities
• Regular Updates: We release updates to address security issues

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

FuelTrip is designed to store data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data may be stored in Apple data centers in various countries. Apple's privacy policy governs international data transfers.
